Their strategy places much of the construction process in factories rather than on-site, resulting in faster, cleaner, and smarter building solutions. Client's commitment to sustainability and efficiency has made them one of Europe's leading modular builders, with headquarters in Montfoort and seven locations across four countries.

 

 

Challenges Faced

Picture this: You're part of the bustling the client's team, spread across multiple offices, collaborating on various architectural projects. Each project involves distributing designs, receiving input, and making revisions—a complicated process that necessitates rigorous tracking and organization. With so many moving pieces, using paper-based operations becomes inefficient and error-prone. Keeping track of who generated a design, when it was amended, and how different stakeholders provided comments becomes a logistical nightmare.

 

Solution Implemented

The solution? Digitalization. We at Touchscreen introduced a comprehensive system to streamline client's intricate workflow, comprising three key components.

 

 

 

1. Content Management System (CMS)

The CMS functions as a centralized center for managing users, offices, and projects. Each project consists of cells, with individual users assigned to each cell. PDF files are allocated to users within these cells, and the CMS administrator oversees project allocation and PDF file distribution. Additionally, the administrator has visibility into all PDF file modifications made by users.

 

2. PDF Editor

The PDF editor, accessible via Android and Apple devices, empowers the client's architects and engineers to review and edit assigned PDF files on the go. Equipped with essential tools like drawing, text insertion, deletion, and coloring, the PDF editor automatically saves every modification, ensuring data integrity and eliminating the risk of information loss.

 

3. CastIt TV Screen Application

Installed on a large touchscreen display in client's office, the CastIt TV screen application integrates seamlessly with our system. It showcases all PDF files associated with a project, displaying both original and modified versions. What's remarkable about this application is its real-time synchronization—any changes made by users in the PDF editor app on their iPads are instantly reflected on the screen.
