Our client, an optician, had previously implemented a touchscreen in their store and witnessed how it improved their overall ambiance. Therefore, they sought an expansion of their current touchscreen concept, aiming to find a solution that supports customers in choosing eyewear. From this need arose the requirement to develop a unified system for various opticians.

The Process

To provide an optimal solution, we began by mapping out three User Journeys, illustrating how a customer experiences each service. The first User Journey focused on the in-store experience, analyzing how the concept could contribute to the customer's choice in the store. The second User Journey centered on the online experience. Finally, these two user journeys were combined into a crossover, where the online experience seamlessly integrates with the in-store experience.

This relates to the challenge of creating a unified system, or omnichannel, where everything is integrated into one platform, focusing on connecting with the customer. Leveraging through CastIt platform, we effortlessly developed interactive digital signage and a custom application for our partner. This allowed the optician to differentiate themselves with their unique formula, standing head and shoulders above the competition.
